Palanquin of Heaven is a beautiful Indian story filled with magic, mystery and romance. Raag is an orphan, raised on a mysterious island but sees his whole tribe butchered at a young age and he is raised in the most brutal of ways. Aditi has a stable privileged upbringing yet, her life is tinged with deception. The two are brought together by a strange musician and a deep friendship blossoms. Raag is on a mission to discover the origins of his people and why his life and blood hold very mysterious properties. Aditi must step into her father's shoes and run his massive company. Will they succeed, even when faced with murder, death and betrayals most horrid?

4. A reader will surely be engrossed while reading it.
5. Characters are well built and the strongest character is of Kartik.
6. The story is unique and interesting.
7. The cover and title are appropriate.

Overall a must read book for all.
