Review:

What happens if the groom disappears on the eve of marriage??

What about the bride???

How would life be after all this??

The life of Rimjhim, the main character of the novel, takes such disastrous turn when his love Arman disappears on the eve of their marriage. Rimjhim fights with all the odds in her life and later on decides to marry Jimmy, the person who stood by her side in very situation.

What next??
Will their life be a romantic one or it will face the shadows of the past??

*****

The story has emotional turns which are explained beautifully with proper description.

The saga of love and betrayal won my heart by it's beauty.

The characterization is the core of the novel.

The words are so engaging that they made me imagine myself as Rimjhim.

The chapters are woven in an amazing way.

The cover is beautifully designed with an appropriate title.

Overall, an amazing read.

Review of "Sunshine Town"

Book: Sunshine Town
By: Manish Arora

Sunshine Town is a contemporary fiction book which revolves around the life of the protagonist, Shlok. The setting of the story is in Varanasi. Shlok is just like another young boy who aims to make his parent's proud someday. The struggle of life, love and friendship is well narrated by the author.

The moment when one drowns due to lack of confidence for life's failure one just needs a helping hand who would pull him out of the darkness and build some confidence. The same happens with Shlok. The support of parent's is what one needs the most and especially when it's in teenage. The author portrays the love twist of Shlok is an amazing manner and the way.

The love life as well as the struggles of the life of a teenager are well explained and in such a manner that it keeps the reader engaged.

The cover is beautiful.
The story is not just a romance centered novel but a beautiful story of a teenager's life.
The pace of the book is well maintained with easy to grasp language.

Overall a beautiful read for me.

Review of "The Last Meal"

Book The Last Meal
By Yuno Imai

The story is about four inmates and their last meal. Though we all have heard about the last wish and the execution of prisoners but this story develops a strong emotion about the last meal and how the four characters; Chase, Fred, James and Peter.
The last meal is not mere meal but it a beautiful way to enjoy the last moment.

Each character has a different story and their wish about their last meal is different.
Chase was from a poor family and the last meal made him the happiest. On the other hand, one refused to fill the last meal form. And one does it for his child.

The story is having an emotional ending where a prisoner wishes to have Mother's made pie. And the effort by the jail authorities made me love the concept of the book.

Coming to the overall view of the book, the language used is easy and the illustrations in it will attract the young readers.
The cover is beautiful.

And overall the theme of the book is worth reading.

Black Lives Matter - Guest Post

Sadly, the colour of the skin don't just define a person's beauty. But also, it won't let you be treated equally. Hashtag-Black lives matter, Justice for George Floyd, All lives matter and what not, Internet is filled with all of this because, No one deserves to die by getting choked up till suffocation and breathlessness. No! Not when you're innocent. People coming on the streets, Burning buildings, Risking their lives, Because the people in authority, are white. The people in charge, Care more about their pride. Putting guns of people's heads, Beating them, And locking them inside, And still, no one will shut up. That means you need to learn what's right. Asking for equality, Speaking up for rights, As we're the citizens of the country. But it seems like, Government don't care about it's duty. All they wanna do is, Shut people up who fight . We also got to see a lot of hypocrisy in this fight of equality and living of black people. People bullies black kids at school, Public beating up a kind black man, assuming that he's stealing, Treating co-workers like shit because of the colour of their skin, Making fun of the black lady walking down the street. So many stories unheard, Justice un-served. I don't understand what's more messed up ? The system or the mentality ? So, I stand up today and ask, What's the point of destroying innocent people's lives, When all they ask for is ,basic human rights .

Review of "Frozen in Time"

Book: Frozen in time
By: Priya Das and Pallavi Sharma

Blurb:
Some love stories swim, float and then sink, to stay afloat till the world survives. They become a memory for the lifetime. The lovers might die, they might stay apart, but the love becomes eternal.

Through this book, we bring to you those eternal tales of love, that couldn't 'last' as per the norms of the society, but they definitely last a lifetime for the ones into them.

An entirely female-driven anthology of short stories/poetry that are "Frozen in Time". 30 storytellers, 30 ways of telling stories, stories that are different in nature, that depict love beyond any timeline, beyond all definitions.

Review:

The book "Frozen in time" is an all female anthology with the theme of Unrequited love.

It is a collection of poetries and stories with beautiful setting of plot.

I loved the poetries more than stories. Memoir and Halfway are one of my favorite one.

Half Done Love Story is the one I loved in prose.

Though each poetry and story is unique in their own way but they are well arranged in the anthology.

The words are deep and makes one emotional while reading it.

The language used is easy to understand.

The title and the cover are 💯 appropriate.

Review of "Celestial Descent"

Book: Celestial Descent
By: Kiran Sandhu

Celestial Descent is a collection of poetries with illustrations. The poems are categorised into 4 parts namely: Divine Encounters, Nature's Musings, Revered Touch and The Oneness.

The poetries are based on the events of our lives. The author has given life a beautiful meaning and defined it's path through the book. The words used by the poetess are extremely beautiful and have a deep meaning.

The life is all about the things or situations we encounter and how engage with it. The beauty of Nature and it's beautiful sound is a soothing for our soul. The feeling of love is all about the revered touch and the oneness is all we live for. It is the life and we need to dance in oneness.

The poems that I loved the most are "Walking with Guru Nanak" and "Miracles".
The book is well set and the illustrations add up to it's beauty.

Review of "The Storyteller"

Book: The Storyteller
By: Sana Rose

Blurb:
You can sleep through the world, but not through yourself.

A childhood incident she can’t recollect…
A haunting nightmare that jolts her out of sleep…
For Zara, knowing is suffering.
Cocooned in the shell she has built around herself, life is all about bare survival
until one day she gets an email from The Storyteller…
Zara is hooked by his words and hungry for more. But, to her horror, she learns he
knows more about her than she thought.
When her step-cousin Zachariah lands after eight years, reviving bittersweet
memories, Zara must face her worst demons.
Who is The Storyteller? What does he want from her? What is she afraid of?
And why didn’t her mother protect her from the devastating truth about herself?
The Storyteller is a poignant narrative, exploring childhood trauma and the battle
of a young woman caught between PTSD and high-functioning normalcy,
intertwined with a tale of love, loss, grief, betrayal, pain and survival.

Review:
Are you still traumatized by an incident that happened years ago??

Are you aware of PTSD?

How will you deal with it??

The questions are numerous but the answer to all of these is in the book, THE STORYTELLER.
The book is about Zara, the protagonist who is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.
The author has beautifully penned down the life of Zara and how she dealt with her trauma.

Which was the incident that made her life so??

An assault, or something else??

Grab your copy to know more.

The story is written so beautifully that it seems no less than reality. The reader has feel and relate the character of Zara. The chapters are wooven with proper detailing and with the diary writings that add upto it's beauty.

The Author has divided the book into 105 chapters and none of them is lengthy.

Language used by the author is amazing with the cover that is eye catching. The title is 💯 appropriate.

Overall A beautiful story.

And a must read.
